Smooth.  If we had one word to describe the ZXL Series rods. that would be it.  The ZXL also brings state-of-art technology, maximum performance and near weightlessness to the classic action fly rod.  Through the G5 process, every gram of unnecessary material has been removed and replaced traditional glass hoop fibers with lighter, more responsive graphite.  The ZXL rods are significantly lighter, stronger and easier to cast for everyone who enjoys the relaxed casting rhythm of a smooth progressive taper.
